Olivia sat silently at her desk, grading the last remnants of a stack of essays from her class of Juniors. Some of them were truly terrible, but others were actually decent. They'd come a long way since freshman year, and she smiled somewhat proudly.

She'd had first period off today, and since she'd spent her weekend reading a book that had been recommended to her by a student instead of grading, she had had to spend it catching up. It was worth it though. The book had been called The Pirates! In an Adventures with Communists and was excellent indeed.

She took a sip from the cup of coffee as she waited for the next class of students to come in the open door. It was second block now, and it would seem that she was going to have a great many tardies to give out.
