Description: Chris is around 6' tall, has black hair and doesn't look particularly muscled.
His standard expression is a mix of uncaring and cool calculation. Around strangers, he acts very much like this too. He is self contained-but not at all shy-and will not be distracted from his purpose by those around him and pays them very little attention other than to assess the threat they pose. The only exception to this rule is to preserve family. He firmly believes family-biological or forged by time-is the most important thing in life and will break the pattern of his normal behaviour to preserve it-even if it is not his own. Once he knows people and trusts them, he becomes a much more outgoing person. Clever, funny, energetic, kind, helpful, polite, caring-all the qualities of a good brother or friend.
Chris has no preference between human and animal blood, he will drink whatever is available when he needs to, but given a choice, he will prefer animal. He has no siblings other than his twin sister and is not in a relationship. If asked whether he likes being a vampire, he will say "It happened, I dealt with it. Regrets will change nothing, so why bother?" However, deep down, he doesn't really know and wants to love someone.
However, whether you see the friend or public side of him, don't be fooled by his apparent harmlessness. Chris is a very experienced and highly trained killer with a dept to pay to the Volturi. He acts as a mercenary to them, tasked with hunting down and killing those who break the rules when the normal methods don't succeed. The equivalent to a vampire of what a tracker is to a human; Chris has learned to track vampires following trails that most vampires have forgotten they even need to cover. He is a slow and strategic assassin who will follow the target, taking no risks, blending into society, preferring to kill with a thousand cuts than a gaping wound. He will kill without hesitation, but no more than necessary, never sacrificing control of the situation to succeed-except once-and his natural abilities give him an unnatural control over any situation he enters. Is he dangerous? That depends, is he after you? Will you get in his way? Or is he just hungry?
Biography: Chris was the son of one of the first modern stage magicians. His father (Robert Malachi Blackstone) was a genius with machinery used to create the tricks, but due to his lack of showmanship, he was never recognised for the skill he had. His mother died giving birth to him. Chris himself started working in the show at the age of 12, and by the age of 16, he was showing a remarkable skill for the sleight of hand-distracting the attention of the audience in just the right way, whilst his twin sister, Rebecca, filled the role of the beautiful assistant. On the 14th August 1807, they had just finished performing their disappearing act, when a vampire decided he wanted to make Rebecca disappear. The vampire was interrupted, but not soon enough to prevent a result of one dead father, and two more vampires. Chris and Rebecca travelled England for about 105 years before the one who changed them tracked them down and tried to kidnap Rebecca on April 10th 1912. Rebecca, had become a "vegetarian" vampire straight away, but Chris had not bothered with it and this had never troubled either of them.
Determined to avenge his father and protect his sister, Chris chased them to a cruise liner in the Southampton docks bound for New York. Mad with rage, Chris stole aboard the ship just as it was leaving. He waited until they were in the middle of the Atlantic to slow any escape, used his knowledge of engineering from his father to fatally wound the ship, then tore it apart room by room, person by person, until his sister was safe. The ship sank, taking all firsthand evidence with it except for a few strange calls for help sent out by the crew and the tales of the survivors who had not actually seen Chris. The ship's name was "RMS Titanic."
Rebecca never blamed Chris for his actions, but he and the Volturi did. Inexperienced as he was then, they caught him and offered him a choice. They saw a lot of potential in the powers that were emerging and said that if he learned to hunt their more difficult targets for long enough, he and his sister could live. He agreed.
Since then, Chris has spent his life living in England, until called upon by the Volturi, upon which time he sets out and lives as a nomad, or taking up a position in local society until his mission if complete. His sister even visits him when he decides to do the latter. He has never had a taste for human blood in the same way again.
The current day: Chris has an enhanced version of his original control over the attention of others from his magician days. He can now sense what others sense. In effect see what they see, hear what they hear, and if near a mind reading vampire, will hear the thoughts that they hear. Not only did his instinct for the attention of others expand, so did his ability to control it. He can change what people see, hear, smell and/or touch at will. If he hears a mind reader reading his mind, he can bombard them with millions of thoughts screaming in their heads-impossible to block, impossible to hear past and also impossible to concentrate over- until they turn their attention away. At their most docile, his powers allow him to make certain people hear his voice-the next best thing to sending thoughts-and when used to their full extent, they can create full blown hallucinations indistinguishable from reality in any way-a perfect false reality.
Chris has a new challenge. His latest target is a vampire called Alex, only a matter of years old. Alex eludes normal tracking techniques, and when found, eludes those sent after her, sometimes with a cost to the Volturi. Her ability is also to affect reality, but she actually changes what is real and what is not, to an extent. he can see why the Volturi sent him. It will be an interesting fight, but he intends to win. After all, how can you affect reality, when you no longer know what it is?

Bugatti VeyronBiography: Becca was born December 12th, 1788 in Southampton, the daughter of one of the first modern stage magicians. She is the maturnal twin of Chris, who is very protective of her. Her mother, Marie Anne Blackstone, died in childbirth and her father. When she was 17, she became the beautiful assistant to her fathers magic show.
Robert Malachi Blackstone, died after the show on August 14th. A vampire in the crowd looking for a tasty meal to kill outside saw her on stage and decided to change her. She managed to scream and Robert and Chris came to her aid. Robert was killed from a broken neck after being flung backwards. Though the vampire could easily have escaped, he was still hungry and so bit Becca to immobalise her and then tried to feed on Chris, but was stopped before completing the latter by a couple more vampires who arrived worried about the noise. They both survived with bites and the vampire fled.
She is physically 19. She has been a vegetarian vampire almost since the beginning (but that's not to say she hasn't ever eaten humans) even though Chris isn't. It doesn't bother her that he isn't, because she is just thankful to still have Chris with her after all they have "survived" together.
On April 10th, 1912 the original vampire who had attacked them so many years ago found them again. Determined to have Rebecca as a mate, he kidnapped her and tried to board a ship before Chris could find out and stop him, but Chris caught the ship as it was leaving (by jumping from the S.S. New York which happened to brake away from its mooring and almost hit the ship). Rebecca was held prisoner for four days by the stronger vampire before Chris ripped into the room of the sinking ship she was in, covered in blood and saved her yet again. Together they overcame the vampire, fed him to the roaring furnaces of the engines and escaped from the sinking ship. They swam back to Bistrol where the Volturi were waiting for them. The Volturi threatened to kill them both if Chris did not work for him. He agreed, and they were set free.
Chris now works as an assasin for the Volturi and Rebecca sometimes travels around with him when she gets bored of the house in England and the humans who she likes to spend time with (but think she's just a normal rich girl). She always tries to get him to make friend while in a new place, and he often does.
The disappearing act was always her favourite and whilst Chris or their father played the part of the magician whos job it is to control the audience, Becca was the assistant who more often than not does all the actual work of disappearingin and reappearing in this trick. This skill carried with her into her new life and her power is to be able to transport herself, other people and objects to another place, be it three feet away or three hundred miles.

Description: Like this, but without the lip gloss-Mal is straight (can you believe Eric Millegan, the guy in the photo, is actually 33!), 5'7, small looking, but isn't really that small.
Mal isn't friendly to new people. He was never really given a chance by many people in his childhood and he tends to be the same to others. However, he values the friends he has a lot and is very caring of them, particularly Alexa, who he is starting to fall for, but is not an oppressively protective person.
He's quite quiet normally, but is not afraid to brake rules and go on an adventure (normally with Alexa), but is generally the voice of reason if something is about to go too far. He has a lot of energy when it's called upon is also a lot fitter than he looks. He can sing very well, he likes to read and watches sci-fi and fantaisy programs on TV when he has nothing else to do.
Bio: Mal has lived in Forks all his life. His father is on the local police force and moved to Forks in the 70s where he met Mal's mother, who had lived there all her life and is a nurse at the hospital.
Mal was a bit of an outcast right away in school because he had a name that sounded like it was from a greek myth. With the exception of all the people who moved in recently, Forks generally has a very self contained population and so he has always had the same people around him in school and never really managed to shake his isolation.
He had a pretty uneventful life until he was 12, when his sister (then 17) was visiting his cousin (18 ) and her family and they were all out walking together. They were all attacked in the woods by a giant wolf. His cousin and her whole immediate family were killed, and his sister was just saved in time by being changed into a vampire by another one that was passing and heard her crying. She pretended to have been killed too, but couldn't brake away completely and secretly stayed in touch with Mal from wherever she went (she won't tell Mal in case he tries to find her and she hurts him-she says she'll come back when she's safe).
As such, with their similar pasts, when Alexa came to Forks high, the school councelors decided to pair her with Mal for a while, and the two of them became good friends. Mal knows about werewolves and his sister says it could have been one who attacked her, but isn't sure, because the size was borderline and she thought a wolf should have calmed down before doing all that.
Conflict: He wants to find his sister, but is kind of scared of what he might find. He's also starting to like Alexa as more than just a friend and is confused with himself because he knows her brother is a werewolf, she could possibly become one and he's not sure how he should feel about that given that one might have killed a large chunk of his family.
