Lets see, I'm reading Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen and Uglies by Scott Westerfeld Razz

I'll post reccomendations later, cause it'll take a while Razz

hmm...i'm reading Orientalism by Edward Said and Chuck Dugan is AWOL by Eric Chase Anderson. As for recommendations, they'll take some time, but I can say that I wouldn't go for Orientalism (i'm reading it for debate) but Chuck Dugan is one of my favorites :)

I HIGHLY recommend Gideon Defoe to anyone who doesn't know of him. Particularly these three books:

the pirates! in an adventure with scientists
the pirates! in an adventure with ahab
the pirates! in an adventure with communists

Maximum Ride.
Yes the chapters are short, like extremely short.
But sooo good.

The Eight - Katherine Neville I think.

I finished the host recently. prefered Twilight. I liked the characters more constantly in it.

Moving on to The Hunger games next. Will keep you posted. Anyone else read it?

I am currently rereading The Lightning Thief, but I am reading The Once and Future King and Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover at the same time... o.O

Lol. I love reading multiple books. Technically I am reading about five books, but if I'm honest, the other ones will either never be finished because I don't like them or I've read them before and I'll start again some time.

The Merlin Conspiracy, Diana Wynne Jones. This book is my all time favorite of any book, ever. No exceptions.

Unwind, Neal Shusterman. Second favorite, and I am in love with this author.

And then After, or Touch by Francine Prose. She is so good at keeping characters in a real state within their situations.

Haha, those are, like, my favorite fantasy, sci-fi, and fiction writers. :]

I read The Merlin Conspiracy!

I was really little, and I hated it. >.<

But I reread it a year or so ago and liked it a lot. Razz

I am currently reading summer reading books for school. Al of which suck. And thus, I would not recommend them.

FIRE STUDY!!! Will let you know how it goes, but I loved the first two.

The new Mortal Instruments book (City of Fallen Angels) is awesomeeeee!

Finally read Mockingjay. The end of it was kinda rubbish compared to the whole of the rest of the series.

but ... cofa - the end ... i just wanted to punch someone. SERIOUSLY? and i have to wait a fucking year until the next book is out :/

I'm reading The Girl Who Played With Fire. I finished The Green Mile yesterday which was great. I needed to read that right after Girl with the Dragon Tattoo because a girl at school lent it to me.

I also bought Virgin Suicides (LOVE!) and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest the other day.

Seriously.

Mockingjay SUCKED.

Also, you all should read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

i definitely need to read/get more books. i haven't been reading at all, and i'm actually a little depressed by that.
i want to read enders game because i've heard that it was good? but i don't know what else i want to read..

I finished the last two books of the Millennium series in three days, which is pretty good considering I did TRY my best to do other things as well. It's horrible that the author died before being able to continue the series (10 books were planned in all). They were brilliant and I definitely recommend them.

Ender's Game is really good, Nanabear. Definitely read it. *nods*

Wait. Tegan. I think I know that series. Who is the author that died?

Steig Larsson. He's Swedish. Like me.

Not reading anything atm...too busy. Not sure which books to pick up from my bookstore the next time I get a chance. As long as it's not Twilight, I'm good Razz
