| I know someone who is going there next year! I didn't like the girl very much, but I hear the school is lovely. Also, Cardcaptors was a dorky little Japanese anime show that I loved when I was little that I just spent the last few weeks rewatching. | |

| Haha okay, good. I'm glad people seem to like the school! I would just love to go there, and not just to ski all the time. | |

| Good. I'm told it's really beautiful.
That said, I hope you don't have a problem with people who really like skiing.

| Hanson is today :) I am uber excited. 12 hours straight of Hanson activities. Hooray. I'm also a bit paranoid. People always say they like how I don't care about what other people think of me, but I'm quite the opposite. All of my friends and I made tshirts for the concert (and even one for my dad...because he confessed he really wanted one...O.o) and now I'm all worried about what everyone will think. It sounds stupid, but I'm worried nonetheless. I wish I could just put all my energy into hoping and wishing for the greatest concert ever instead of panicking over what other fans will think of our shirts. >.<
Either way, my one friend 'got sick' at the last minute and can't go, which I find to be total b.s. but I won't tell her that. She fakes sick with any event she doesn't feel like going to, including practically every Monday during the school year. Bleh.
Alright. End rant.
Basically - I am very thrilled today is finally here, I shall try to make the most of it, and take good pictures. There.

Have fun, Chads! Don't worry about what the other fans will think, and ignore your friend being a jerk. *nods* It's Hanson. Enjoy yourself!

| You're right. My worrying was silly. Within being there of 5 minutes, we had two girls tell us they loved our shirts. I felt stupid for being so worked up over it.
Anyway, the concert was epic. Their concerts always are. I'm so sad it's over. I wish I could go to their show tomorrow night in NJ but I know there's no way. Right off the bat, we saw Taylor walking down the sidewalk and the entire car blew up in excited screaming. XD Zac saw my dad's shirt that we made (It said "I've survived three Hanson shows with my teenage daughter and all I got was this shirt") and gave him a thumbs up, as did Taylor. We gave Zac his bag of extra giant marshmallows and he loved them and then later they were on the stage with him (*minor squee*). We walked the walk barefoot - which hurt - and then got poured on in line but our flimsy umbrellas kept us semi dry. Luckily, we got in and actually got terrific spots. Like, front row/second row spots directly in Taylor's line of sight. It was awesome. He looked at us the entire time and when MMMBop played, Zoe took her shirt off (she had a tank top on underneath) and held it up because she wrote on it the lyrics to MMMBop and he smiled at us all. Later, as everyone reached up to him, he held my pointer finger.
I contemplated never washing it again but that'd be difficult.
Overall, it was just fantastic. I had so much fun. Zoe took some pictures during the walk but they told us no cameras were allowed in the theatre and if they were, we'd have to put them back in our cars and lose our spot in line so we all gave our cameras to my dad to put them away. But then when we got in, they didn't even do a security check and people took in cameras. It annoyed me so much. So we didn't get any pictures, even though we were right there.
Oh, and a guy from the Philly Inquirer took my dad's picture XD It was hilarious. By the end of the night, my dad said about 100 people had admired his shirt, including one of the events manager who said he told about 25 people about it. I had to laugh.
EDIT: I have some photos that I got off of the Hanson livestream of us with Zac but they're super grainy. Is it possible to correct that with photoshop and if so, can anyone do that for me asap?? I only have about 5.

| I've been better. Definitely have had an interesting summer, though. It's upsetting to know it will end in about two weeks when I go back to school. | |

| Scratch what I said earlier.
Orientation is the 17th, first day is the 18th. I'm jello of your extra time, Ben.
I finally got all my summer reading done, although I still need to write an essay on my AP US Government/Politics book.
I also have 411 Spanish words to memorize and two chapters of grammar and verb tenses to review.
And about 30 pages to do in the workbook.
In other news, I learned the words for weed and pothead in Spanish.
As well as about five ways to say "hole."
This year is going to be interesting.

| May I ask how and why you learned those words in particular? Now you just need to learn "ass" and things will be even more interesting. Of course, before that, you will have to finish your other homework which seems to be an epic task. | |

| See, I had to look up all of these 411 vocab words.
Online dictionaries give lots and lots of meanings of words.
Many of which my Spanish teacher (I'm sure) did not intend for us to find, despite the fact that she gave us the links to said online dictionaries.
Hehe... | |

| Good lord, that's a ton of summer work. I hardly have any. So I just got set up, unkowingly, on a date. The guy was just like me, just on a whole new level. I don't want to date a me. Apparently, he's hung up on me.. I've talked to him once. Not cool. So that was just bad... Luckily, he's going to college soon! | |

| I go back September 1st but I leave this Tuesday for California. XD However, right now, I'm on cloud 9. I'm sure at least Kat and probably Tegan remembers this but in the beginning of 9th grade I saw this guy who I eventually found out was a senior. Either way, I thought he was way adorable and just in the last 2 days we got connected over Facebook and after friending him, we're talking nonstop all of a sudden. I'm just like...kind of amazed...because I didn't expect to ever talk to him. Ever. So that was my teenage sounding mini rant. | |

I started school.
This year is going to be insane.
It's exhausting.
But very, very interesting.
I might disappear for random periods of time.

| Have fun at school, Kat <333
I watched Greese and am currently reading The Wall and the Wing. Actually handed in my Maths assignment on time, although I had to stay up late the night before finishing it.
Went to watch the school musical last night. It wasn't Broadway, but it was funny. Most of it ended up being ad lib, apparently. It was worth seeing.
The internet isn't working on my computer, so it's been taken into the shop to be looked at. In the mean time, I've been using my parent's Vista, which is annoying.

| I LOVE THE WALL AND THE WING!
Seriously.
I just finished the newest Artemis Fowl book, and it made me very angry. Colfer should have quit after The Opal Deception. However, I got to brush up on my gnommish and translate the bottoms of the pages. I forgot how quickly it comes back, despite my not having read any books by Colfer in... what, FIVE YEARS OR SOMETHING RIDICULOUS LIKE THAT? awegaertawr He frustrates me.

| TWI, YOU HAVE LOST IN YOUR SIGNATURE AND ICON. AHHHH. charlie = <3. my little british drug addict.
anyways, um. well my grampa passed away a month ago, so things have been interesting since then. i miss him a lot, and it feels as though he's constantly on my mind but i have to be strong because it's hard enough for my mom, and my sister's too fragile to do anything like go to the funeral home with my gramma, my mom and my uncle. or even to the hospital, before he died and after so we could say goodbye. so apparently i've taken on a lot of responsibility. other than that, nothing fun has really happened. or interesting for that matter.
what's been going on with all of you lovely kids? btw. i start school in another week *happy dance*
