Also, just wondering, anyone read CoFA yet? I finished it this morning...mind = blown.
And, speaking of CoFA, would anyone graphic-handy be willing to make me a Magnus or Simon or Alec or even Jace, really, (XD) wallpaper for my tumblr? Just thought I'd ask, because I want to change my background and I want it something TMI-related, but I'm having trouble finding anything.

On a personal note, it's kind of odd. I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I was eventually diagnosed with orthorexia, a type of eating disorder along with bulimia, and it basically means I'm obsessive and addicted to all nutritional foods. I guess I just wanted to let you guys know that as of lately, I've been doing a lot better with that aspect. I feel really freed, liberated. I'm not so obsessive as I used to be. I just feel really great and I figured I'd let you guys know that. :)

I didn't mention any of this before. I don't know where you guys are.

I was taken to hospital on Monday night. On Tuesday night they told me I had gall stones. On Wednesday morning they released me. On Thursday afternoon I had an appointment with a specialist surgeon. Yesterday (Friday) I had an operation and my gall bladder was removed. This morning I was released from the private hospital.

Everyone said that it was really weird that I had gall stones because I'm only 16 and I'm not fat. I don't know why I had them.

The surgery went fine. I'm still a bit sore, but that's normal. I had my first shower today since Friday morning and I feel so clean!

Tegan, I'm so sorry! That's terrifying. How are you feeling? Did they figure out why you had gull stones? That's horrible.

As for me, I was in Scotland for ten days back in March, and I had an incredible time! It was absolutely amazing and now I completely want to live there. I had the best host family/exchange partner, too. Me and two other friends are actually going to go back July 4-18 this summer.
Also, I'm pretty sure you guys were talking about Merlin some time ago. I had no idea what it was, but I finally watched it yesterday, and now I just finished episode six... Haha, I love it.

HAPPY ZOMBIE JESUS DAY!

When I woke up, I did not say that to my parents as my mum is unhappy about me being agnostic. Although she'd relieved I'm not atheist. The other day when I was filing out some hospital forms, I put 'agnostic' as my religion, and she was like, "Tegan!" and tried to take the pen away from me, which I snatched away. Then she said, "You'll be wanting to pray when you're outside of those hospital doors."

I would just like to point out that my mum is not usually very religious. She's only forced me to go to church once, and that was because my nan wanted to go on Christmas Eve. >.>

I'm feeling fine now. My bandages are off, and I have this hole in my side where they'd stuck a drain thing in for a night to get rid of the antiseptic stuff in my insides. Nobody knows why I had gall stones, and we'll probably never know.

I am glad you are doing better Teg and I am glad that your friend is going, Nanabear!

I visited Boston this weekend and decided I am going to Wellesley. I can take courses at MIT and hang out with the Harvard and MIT guys if I am sick of all of the girls and it is in BOSTON and it's a phenomenal education and the classes are small and the network is fantastic and 100% of students who go from Wellesley directly into law school are accepted by their number one choice for law school. It just. I never thought I would want to go there but I went there and I feel like I have to go there. It is just so.. it is me. It fits me and it is all about strong, empowered women making a difference in the world and it fits me as a school. I know it will be hard work, but I will be happy there. I stayed in one of the dorms and got to sit in on classes and went to panels and seminars and stuff and it was just amazing. So, I decided. Wellesley. Not many people turn down Northwestern, but I am doing it. *nods firmly*

And then a tornado blew the roof off the airport in St. Louis, so our flight was cancelled and we got a replacement flight to Chicago and drove to St. Louis, worrying the entire time that our house was destroyed (we live about 20-30 minutes from the airport) and that our car (which was parked in the airport parking lot) was completely totaled by the hail and tornado. We were incredibly, incredibly lucky. We had some turbulence flying, but we were able to make it home safely and everything was okay. It was honestly the most relieved I have ever felt in my life, which sounds silly, but is true.

and yay kat! ( : i'm so glad you've found a university you're happy with. next year i'll be making those painful decisions, though i'm not sure whether i'm going to the states, or staying here in canada. we'll see.

i dropped out of biology. it was stressing me out because i was failing the class, and i wasn't paying attention in my chem because i was so focussed on biology - now i feel better. i feel like a lot has been taken off of my shoulder and i'm really super happy about that. now i've just got chemistry to deal with and my virtual math. lada. but it's good. my schedule makes me laugh - it's virtual, drama, chem, virtual, drama. hahah. i love my days. my friends are like "your days are shit. seriously." i'm like "you're just jealous because my days are boss" but yes. i'm so much happier then i've been.

i went back to roleplaying in february, but after dramafest i decided to take another break. i find that i'm so much happier without the stress of having to owe people posts ... and it helps with me fighting depression. of course, being on tumblr doesn't help the craving of me wanting to join new sites, but i'm fighting it and it's working really good. i'm spending more time with my friends, less time on the computer which makes me really happy and glad.

right now i'm raging though because i missed glee tonight due to the plays and i really want to see it :/ -.-

Speaking of depression, I was officially diagnosed with severe depression a few days before I was taken to hospital. I'm on some anti-depressants and I hate them. I haven't thought of it much apart from that - things have been too hectic.
