Ravenclaw Common Room

Where Ravenclaws can chill in a damn right intelligent manner.

Round and filled with blue hangings and fat
armchairs, has a domed ceiling painted with stars, and also features a
statue of Rowena Ravenclaw wearing her diadem. A logical riddle must be
solved in order to gain entry, whereas the Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and
Slytherin common rooms only require a password.

Gavin and his crew were the first in. Apart from all the first years, that were scared out of their minds. He looked at them and snickered, before sitting down in one of the big chairs. His friends sitting in various places around him. They all started to talk about their summer.

Thankfully the boys she had been following WERE going into her common room. When she walked in she gasped. It was beautiful, blues everywhere. Along wth a statue of one of the founders she had learned about at Beaubtons. Allof the seats had been taken up by the boys so she crept over at slipped past them to sit by the fire.

Gavin looked at the girl who had just came in. She was new. Not at the original sorting. He nudged one of his friends and they looked over to where he was looking.

"She's new." Gavin nodded.
"Yeah. Wonder where she is. We don't get that many transfers." his friend replied.
"Not from that what is it. That other school."
"There are lots of other schools Gav."
"No shit, that man one."
"Oh yeah. I know what you mean."
"Well thanks for understanding." Gav rolled his eyes and his other friends snickered.
"Maybe from that French one?" his friend continued.
"Or maybe she's just been homeschooled?" another one of Gavin's friends spoke up.

They looked at her.

"No. Definatly the French one." Gavin replied. They all burst into laughter.

Avloe turned arund to see all the boys staring at her and laughing. Using up all her courage she spoke quietly but firmly, "What iz zee joke?" She asked in her thickly accented voice.

"You. Apparently." Gavin snickered and high fived his friends.
"For sure." the one on his left laughed.

Avloe cocked her head to the side. "You." She pointed to the boy,"Are what we call, an ars'ole" She said cocking an eyebrow and tuning back to the fire.

"Oooo." All of Gavin's friends murmured.
Gavin shot a nasty look at them.

"Pardon me?" He raised his eyebrows.

Tanith walked in on the conversation. She hated when people did that and the girl was obviously new. She walked up to them, all of whom she did not know. "You are a right foul git, you know that?"

Tanith turned to the girl. "Hi, I'm Tanith. I'm assuming you are new here? Don't judge Hogwarts by those arses - we actually do have nice people at this school." Tanith glared at the boy and his friends briefly.

Gavin grinned amused. This was going to be the best year of his life.

"Oh yes. I've been told many times I'm a foul git. So I already know that. Care to share something I don't?" He asked the girl.

"Well, as long as you know that, I guess it makes it all the better, you spoiled brat. What are you going to do when you graduate? Are you always going to go back to your mummy and daddy and get everything you please?" Tanith narrowed her eyes. Despite the fact that she was yelling at him, she couldn't help note how gorgeous he was. If he didn't have such a rotten personality, she would actually like him.

Gavin's eyes narrowed. That was low.

"Perhaps I will. What are you going to do run back to. Oh wait. You're not a pure blood. What are you going to do."

Tanith laughed, amused. "Mature, real mature. I think I will find myself a proper job and become an auror perhaps. I don't need my parent's wealth or pure blood to get me somewhere in life."

Gavin stood up "You think you are so smart. Well I have news for you. Pure bloods will soon rule the wizarding world and you'd better watch your back."

"Gavin, darling calm down." Pippa Bartolmahev stepped into the common room.

Gavin turned to the sound of her voice and his face softened.

"Mm. That's better." She approved "Things are not to be worked up here I believe."

"Times are changing, love. Purebloods don't rule anymore. Anyone can be anything. Watch yourself, mate." Tanith turned to the girl. "Surely, he meant no harm. We were just having a small discussion. Debate, perhaps."

Gavin's eyes narrowed again "And you say so."

"Gavin." Pippa snapped "Discussion my ass. It sounds like you to are about to send spells everywhere. Watch yourself darling." Pippa told the new girl.

Tanith raised an eyebrow. "You are telling me to watch myself? If I remember correctly, you weren't even here. Gavin and I, here, were being perfectly rational. I wasn't about to pull my wand. Gavin seems even-headed enough," Tanith held back her laugh, "to not be so dim-witted as to start throwing spells at me."

"I wasn't tell you to watch it." Pippa motioned at the new girl, who was watching the discussion.

Gavin was fuming now "Excuse me. I think I could over-power you an-"

"Gav. It's not getting any better." Pippa hissed

ooc: Haha, wait... this is really confusing. What new girl? Am I the new girl? And who did you tell to watch themselves?

Tanith gave a threatening smile. "I suggest you hold your tongue, Gavin. Let's not make this worse than it already is." Tanith turned to the girl then. "And Tanith is just fine to use."

OOC: I do believe it's Kira's character. Avloe or what-ever her name is. I'll just call her Av.

Pippa pursed her lips "Tanith then. I do believe we should introduce ourselves. You already know Gavin Amery and his band of thieves. I'm Pippa Bartolmahev. It's a pleasure to meet you." She smiled acidly.

Gavin glared at Pippa.

ooc: Ah, I see.

Tanith gave her the same acid smile back. "Pleasure, indeed, Pippa. And, no, I actually didn't know Gavin until now. I usually like to meet people by calling them a git first."

Pippa laughed "Well then. I am sure we shall be the greatest of friends. I met Gav the same way. Picking on the innocent new children." she sent a reproachful look at Gavin who smirked sarcastically back at her.

"Yes. I do that all the time. I'm a predator you know." He sat down in the chair and Pippa rested her hands on the back of it.

"I can see you know how to make friends well, Gavin," Tanith said sarcastically.

"Yes. Very well indeed." He said through clenched teeth. Pippa smiled triumphantly.

"I see you have learned that keeping your mouth shut is proper." She said.

"Sheesh, you have such a temper. You need to learn to control it." Tanith winked at him. Now she was really toying with him.
